Editor's note - go team!.
A team accomplishes 10 times as much as
the same number of people pursuing separate
activities.
If we move in mass, be it ever so
circuitously, we shall attain our
object; but if we break into squads,
everyone pursuing the path he thinks
most direct, we become an easy conquest
to those who can now barely hold us in
check. Thomas Jefferson, letter to

Signatures handed off to
Monroe City Hall
June 9, 2011
(PM)
Earlier today a group of us met at
Monroe City Hall to deliver the second
wave of signatures for Monroe Initiative
#1. When we originally furnished
signatures for this petition the
requirement was to submit 999
signatures, and we turned in 1250.
After the certification we were told
that 375 additional signatures were
required, and today we turned in another
870. Once the county certifies 999
signatures, it will head to city
leadership to determine if the
initiative should go on the ballot, or
be adopted as-is. As the discussion
moves forward, we must remain engaged
with Monroe’s leaders and follow their
decisions closely.
An outpouring of support from across the
community enabled the success we
achieved today. Concerned citizens with
no history in activism volunteered time
to knock on doors all across town.
Businesses supported our efforts to
collect signatures in front of their
stores. Many businesses placed our
initiative on their countertops to
collect signatures directly! Over
200 of you took time to sign the
initiative, gather signatures from your
neighbors, and return your results
through the mail. We have it on record
that over 2000 people in this community
care greatly about the issue of
automatic ticket cameras in Monroe.
With this achievement, there is no doubt
that the voters in Monroe demand a say
in this decision.
Please join me in thanking the following
organizations who helped us make this
possible with their support and
leadership:
"I
have been speaking to Tea Parties,
Americans for Prosperity, since 2009,
before it was cool," Cain said, before
pointing to victories in recent straw
polls. "...If the Tea Party organization
is racist, why does the black guy keep
winning all these straw polls?"
Asked if part of his appeal to the Tea
Party is that he is an African-American
carrying a conservative message, Cain
said no.
Cain said he does not feel that
President Obama did not use race to get
elected. But he said "a lot of his
supporters use race selectively to try
to cover up some of his failures, to try
to cover up some of his failed
policies."
Mr. Obama's surrogates, Cain said, "try
to play the race card because there's
supposed to be something wrong with
criticizing him."
"We have the right to criticize any
elected official constructively," he
added. [CBS News, June 8]

Oh good, he (Obama) is
concerned about the
economy. For some
strange reason I was
beginning to think he
just didn't give a darn
about working folks.
This is what happens
when you have a guy that
doesn't have a clue
surrounded by a bunch of
numb skulls. They think
government has all the
solutions. Wouldn't it
be better to start
meeting with business
leaders and listening to
what they say? Cut taxes
and regulations that
cost businesses loads of
money that could be
otherwise in their
profits. Give incentives
to businesses. Quit bad
mouthing businesses like
they are Public Enemy
#1. Quit punishing
businesses by
continually funneling
money to corrupt labor
unions whose demands
make American businesses
non-competitive. It's
one thing to be
concerned, it's an
entirely different thing
to take positive action
to help get the country
moving again. Capitalism
is wonderful. Create the
conditions
for businesses to excel
and watch what happens.
We have an
Administration that is
steeped in
Socialist/Marxist
philosophy and views
private enterprise as
the enemy. Therein lies
the problem.
When will Obama crack in public?
by
Mychal Massie
reposted 6/8/11 by permission
At a time when many Americans can barely
afford Burger King and a movie, Obama
boasts of spending a billion dollars on
his re-election campaign. Questioned at
a recent appearance about the spiraling
fuel costs, Obama said, "Get used to it"
– and with an insouciant grin and
chortle, he told another person at the
event, who complained about the effect
high fuel prices were having on his
family, to "get a more fuel-efficient
car."
The Obamas behave as if they were
sharecroppers living in a trailer and
hit the Powerball, but instead of
getting new tires for their trailer and
a new pickup truck, they moved to
Washington. And instead of making possum
pie, with goats and chickens in the
front yard, they're spending and living
large at taxpayer expense – opulent
vacations, gala balls, resplendent
dinners and exclusive command
performances at the White House, grand
date nights, golf, basketball, more
golf, exclusive resorts and still more
golf.
Expensive, ill-fitting and ill-chosen
wigs and fashions hardly befit the first
lady of the United States. The Obamas
have behaved in every way but
presidential – which is why it's so
offensive when we hear Obama say, in
order "to restore fiscal responsibility,
we all need to share in the sacrifice –
but we don't have to sacrifice the
America we believe in." The
American people have been sacrificing;
it is he and his family who are behaving
as if they've never had two nickels to
rub together – and now, having hit the
mother lode, they're going to spend away
their feelings of inadequacy at the
taxpayers' expense.
Obama continues to exhibit behavior
that, at best, can be described as
mobocratic and, at worst, reveals a
deeply damaged individual. In a February
2010 column, I asked, "Is Obama
unraveling?" I wrote that it was
beginning to appear the growing mistrust
of him and contempt for his policies was
beginning to have a destabilizing effect
on him.
At that time, I wrote that not having
things go one's way can be a bitter
pill, but reasonable people don't behave
as he was behaving. He had insulted
Republicans at their luncheon, where he
had been an invited guest. I had
speculated that was, in part, what had
led him to falsely accuse Supreme Court
justices before Congress, the nation and
the world, during the 2010 State of the
Union address. It appeared, at that
time, as if he were "fraying around the
emotional edges." That behavior has not
abated – it has become more pronounced.
While addressing the nation, after being
forced to explain the validity of his
unilateral aggression with Libya,
America witnessed a petulant individual
scowling and scolding the public for
daring to insist he explain his actions.
But during an afternoon speech to
address the budget/debt, he took his
scornful, unstable despotic behavior to
depths that should give the nation cause
for concern. Displaying a dark
psychopathy more representative of an
episode of "The Tudors" television
series, he invited Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.,
to sit in the front row during his
speech and then proceeded to berate both
Ryan and Ryan's budget-cutting plan.
Even liberal Democrats were put off by
the act. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough
questioned the sanity of Obama's
actions.
Today, criticism is coming from all
sides. A senior Democrat lawmaker said,
"I have been very disappointed in
[Obama], to the point where I'm
embarrassed that I endorsed him. It's so
bad that some of us are thinking, is
there some way we can replace him? How
do you get rid of this guy?"
("Democrats' Disgust with Obama," The
Daily Beast, April 15, 2011) Steve
McCann wrote: Obama's speech "was chock
full of lies, deceit and crass
fear-mongering. It must be said that
[he] is the most dishonest, deceitful
and mendacious person in a position of
power I have ever witnessed" ("The
Mendacity of Barack
Obama,"AmericanThinker.com, April 15,
2011).
McCann continued: "[His] performance was
the culmination of four years of
outright lies and narcissism that have
been largely ignored by the media,
including some in the conservative press
and political class who are loath to
call [him] what he is in the bluntest of
terms: a liar and a fraud. That he
relies on his skin color to intimidate,
either outright or by insinuation
[against] those who oppose his radical
agenda only add to his audacity. It is
apparent that he has gotten away with
his character flaws his entire life,
aided and abetted by sycophants around
him. …"
With these being among the kinder
rebukes being directed at Obama, and
with people becoming less intimidated by
his willingness to use race as a
bludgeon, with falling poll numbers in
every meaningful category and an
increasingly aggressive tea-party
opposition – how much longer before he
cracks completely?
The coming months of political life are
not going to be pleasant for Obama.
Possessed by a self-perceived palatine
mindset, that in his mind places him
above criticism, how long before he
cracks in public? Can America risk a man
with a documented track record of lying
and misrepresenting truth as a basic way
of life, who is becoming increasingly
more contumelious?

None of us can do everything, but all of
us can do something. When I think
about my kids asking me 10 years from
now "what did you do when Obama was
screwing America?" my heart leaps to my
throat. What will I say?
What excuse would they buy? What
if I've not done everything I could to
make sure they inherit the same freedoms
and opportunities our parents gave us?
We've had a great life, near retirement,
State workers both with great pensions,
getting set to enjoy the good life on
the bay here in Olympia. We were
smart with our investments and have
already put our oldest daughter through
UW. Go Dawgs! We are blessed
beyond belief and so very proud of our

But for the last two weeks I've have
this reoccurring nightmare where our
family, all of us dressed in black are
standing over the grave of our oldest
crying our eyes out because Obama death
panels eliminated mammograms for women
under under 40.
I really didn't wake up until last
Sunday at 1:34 PM when I realized I
hadn't gotten back to a friend who had
invited me to a tea party get together.
As a matter of fact I hadn't done much
of anything since January of last year
except grow more and more numb over the
string of bad news on jobs and $4.00
gas. Now I am mad, I mean really
really ticked off, but not at Obama.
I'm mad at myself for letting things
slip. Sure, I went to the big 2009
rally at the Capitol. I was there
for the Tea Party Express in Puyallup
but it took me this time to realized
that rallies aren't enough. I
thought our governor and congress would
have gotten the message by now we would
see a turnaround. But "things aint
gettin better" as my grandfather used to
say and don't you even dare get me
started on that freaking womanizer
Weiner!
So Sunday I made my decision: Hell will
freeze over before corrupt politicians
screw up my kid's future and I'm
going to do something each week and each
month and if I have to each day to drain
the freaking swamp so ten years from now
I can say to my daughters "that's how we
turned it around".
Some Union Bosses Are the Problem
by
Randy Dutton (re-printed by permission)
6/6/11
Most conservatives don’t have a problem
with union workers but with union bosses
they put into place. Unions have a valid
place in the private sector. History
shows unions helping protect the health
and safety of workers, and in getting
them good working wages. But often,
‘power corrupts, and absolute power
corrupts absolutely’.
When not restrained by society or its
own membership, union management has
been emboldened to use the workforce
under its protection for political goals
separate from many of its workers’
beliefs. In non-right to work states,
union management forces workers to
contribute dues as a condition of
employment. This equates to a
‘protection racket’. Rigid union
management has caused companies to
become inefficient, non-economically
competitive, and unresponsive to
changing technology. Many unions, by
forcing companies to adhere to
inefficient practices, contributed to
moving American jobs off shore.
Any economist will tell you that it is
the accumulation of capital and its use,
and the acceptance of risk, that creates
companies and jobs. Yet some union
leaders have joined with anti-capitalist
groups that openly seek the destruction
of U.S. capital markets, financial
institutions, corporations, private
property laws, the accumulation of
wealth, and meritocracy.
We now are in an era of economic
terrorism. Action by some union
leaders, as demonstrated in a video at
this link
http://www.glennbeck.com/2011/03/22/beck-clear-case-of-economic-terrorism/,
should not be tolerated in a civil
society. The comments in the video are
from Steven Lerner, Director
of SEIU’s banking and finance campaign.
He has a three point plan to bring down
Wall Street, admittedly held in some
disrepute because of its bailout by a
Progressive Congress. You may not like
bankers, but taking down the banking
system hurts everyone. In
today’s political climate, anarchists
are salivating at the opportunity to
crash the US economy, and they see union
uprising as the tool to achieve their
goals. And our current government has
allowed the National Mediation Board to
create rules by which the minority can
rule over the majority in deciding union
membership.
Some unions have created a political
alliance with the current administration
to usurp established law. For example,
the UAW benefitted when the government
violated established property law by
taking billions of dollars of value from
Chrysler bond holder and giving it to
the UAW. This is a precedence that
inhibits future US business
investment. The SEIU also opposes
e-Verify, which is designed to prevent
illegal aliens from getting US workers’
job. And, they support the DREAM act to
legalize the children of illegals. Are
these your values? Union members should
consider whether endorsing such
disastrous tactics is in the best
interest of America or their own jobs.
Unions don’t have a place in the public
sector. I’ll cite FDR’s own words to
reflect the danger. "All
government employees should realize that
the process of collective bargaining, as
usually understood, cannot be
transplanted into the public
service…Particularly, I want to
emphasize my conviction that militant
tactics have no place in the functions
of any organization of government
employees. Upon employees in the federal
service, rests the obligation to serve
the whole people, whose interests and
welfare require orderliness and
continuity in the conduct of government
activities," said Roosevelt. "This
obligation is paramount," he continued.
"Since their own services have to do
with the functioning of the government,
a strike of public employees manifests
nothing less than an intent on their
part to prevent or obstruct the
operations of government until their
demands are satisfied. Such action,
looking toward the paralysis of
government by those who have sworn to
support it, is unthinkable and
intolerable."
To be clear, I am not
anti-union. I am anti-corruption and
pro-freedom of association. As one who
has supervised up to 170 workers in five
separate unions, I’ve witnessed and
fought against union bosses tolerating
corruption on a grand scale, trying to
force employees into filing nuisance
grievances, slowing down work, and
intimidating workers with violence.
I’ve fought their defense of drug
addicts and thieves. I believe
incompetence and bad behavior should not
be rewarded. And I believe workers have
the inalienable right to keep their
votes secret under all conditions –
including the vote to unionize and elect
union leaders. Any decision of theirs
should be free of intimidation from both
the union bosses and company
executives.

How fast is your race car? From 0
to 60 mph in 5 seconds? DNC
Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz moves
from defending Weinergate saying
"it's just a personal problem" too
"Weiner must resign" with lightening
fast speed that would thrill any race
car driver. Who is she trying to
kid? Weiner himself threw other
scandal ridden Democrats under the bus
in last year's mid term elections so I
guess it is just his turn now.
Of course Weiner doesn't want to
take responsibility for his actions, he
just wants a vacation (a.k.a. leave of
absence) LOL. But I am glad
Weiner is trying to hang on because
more and more junk is coming to light.
The question I have is "how much of
Weinergate happened under Nancy
Pelosi's watch?" Now
Anthony Weiner has admitted he has been texting a 17 year old girl.
Do you think there is a slight chance
that more lurid revelations are on the
way?
XYZ Congress, your Weiner is showing! We sent you
Representatives to DC to drain the swamp
and get the economy back on track.
America is disgusted and disappointed as
it appears this is "the summer of
relapse" instead of recovery.
Where are the jobs? Why is there
more and more National Debt? Deal
with Weiner and get on with business.
If you don't, just remember that 2012 is
coming and we are watching and keeping
track and BTW we are working on getting
a new president that doesn't need on the
job training.

But Weiner is just one hotdog in a jumbo
size package of left wing scandal dogs.
The great joke is that they say they
care about women. Start with Ted
Kennedy, add Bill Clinton, now John
Edwards and we see a long list of
Democrats who get a free pass from the
Left-leaning American Press. Now
add international bankers accused of
raping hotel maids and you begin to
understand the consistency. They
are raping the US Taxpayer, so a few
hotel maids is no big deal... Case in
point is Dominique Strauss-Kahn, was
charged with sexually assaulting a hotel
maid

Remember that the Federal Reserve is
owned mostly by European investment
bankers who apparently don't have
America's best interests at heart (do
you think?!) America is getting
screwed by bad policies from the
political Left.
Home prices falling again
Unemployment skyrocketing above 9% (WA
State is at 9.1 matching the National,
but CA is at 11.9%)
America's Credit rating in deep danger
Gold soars
as the Dollar crashes
Consumer
Confidence is down the drain
American Political
Left wants to plunge us past our bloated $14.5 Trillion
Debt
Obama wants to tax
small business out of existence
Obama's energy policies
has Gas skyrocketing above $4.00 per gallon.
So what does one conclude from all of
this? Left leaning politicians
want to screw us in more ways than one.
At least they are consistent.
Your Children's Future is
NOT a Spectator's Sport!
“If
once the people become inattentive to
the public affairs, you and I, and
Congress and Assemblies, Judges and
Governors, shall all become wolves. It
seems to be the law of our general
nature, in spite of individual
exceptions.”
Thomas Jefferson
Amendment 4, The US
Constitution: "The right of the
people to be secure in their persons,
houses, papers, and effects, against
unreasonable searches and seizures,
shall not be violated, and no Warrants
shall issue, but upon probable cause,
supported by Oath or affirmation, and
particularly describing the place to be
searched, and the persons or things to
be seized."
Has TSA
become a pack of wolves?
I think Jefferson and
Franklin understood something that many
Americans are just beginning to realize.
TSA is seizing women's, men's and
children's private parts without
probable cause and without a warrant and
have they found anything yet? Are
we any safer than before? While
they waste time on being politically
correct the real bad guys are doing
something else. I hate make work
programs for useless bureaucrats.
Watch the film below and weep and see if
you can list all of the Constitutional
violations they commit. Once they
violate the Forth TSA tries to violate
the First Amendment by telling the
mother's son he cannot video tape in a
public area outside the security zone.
In all probability when TSA hauled the
innocent woman away to an undisclosed
location they also engaged in unlawful
imprisonment. TSA threatens
punishment (Amendment Eight). They
tried to take the camera without due
process (Amendment Fourteen). If
some Constitutional lawyer will step up
to the plate and give us a legal
analysis of this incident we will be
glad to publish it.
Honestly I was troubled when Bush and
Congress passed the Patriot Act.
Now the Patriot Act is in the hands of
ZerObama and look what is happening.
The Liberals and Leftists objected to
the Patriot Act out of partisan
gamesmanship. Why aren't they
screaming and protesting now?
Because it is their "chosen one" in the
White House now, that's why. Let's
keep electing men and women of
principle. It would have been
cheaper to pay for more judges to
process warrants rather than this
bloated and disrespectful TSA
bureaucracy. Honest to God we have
got to re-think this one as a nation.
Individual citizens have stopped more
actual terrorists acts than TSA groping
grandmas and little kids.
In 1755 Benjamin Franklin
wrote: "Those who would give up
essential Liberty, to purchase a little
temporary Safety, deserve neither
Liberty nor Safety."
Comedian John Stewart is
even reported as having lampooned
Weiner. When John Stewart is
against you, you know you are in big
trouble. The answer? Call
the cops on CBS reporter Marcia
Kramer who just wanted to get Weiner's statement
for the folks back in his home district (you
know, the people who elected him...)
Is this a class act or what?! Way
to go CBS.
Well here we go with the next
installation of Nanny State regulations meddling
in our lives and takes our property.
Will we bend over and take
it again or elect new County Commissioners
that actually care about people instead
of pursuing some idealistic
political power agenda? Did I say power
agenda? Of course I did.
Nowadays you need to have a "permit" (or
license) to do just about anything.
From
Wikipedia we learn:
In particular a license
may be issued by authorities, to allow
an activity that would otherwise be
forbidden. It may require paying a fee
and/or proving a capability. The
requirement may also serve to keep the
authorities informed on a type of
activity, and to give them the
opportunity to set conditions and
limitations.
Notice
the heart of the issue: "to
allow an activity
that would
otherwise be forbidden."
Whenever you hear the words
Permit or
License
the County has first
outlawed something entirely (until
you obtain the magic
permit.) This is one of the MOST
STRINGENT FORMS of governance, a.k.a. "you have lost your rights and
freedoms already".
This is also the quickest way to corrupt
government because many are willing to
pay "extra" under the table to get
a permit.
So when you read articles like
"Albemarle Road Church" (below)
understand that Government is using the
most heavy handed method possible to
control. Don't
think it affects you because you live in
the city? Think again.
When government artificially lowers
property values through stupid
regulations it makes up the difference by
raising taxes elsewhere (including rental
properties.) Whoa! You mean
apartment rent will rise because of the
pocket gopher? You betcha
sweetheart!
When you lose your property rights
you loose all your other rights as well.
The long hand of government is already
reaching into your bedroom, home
business,
wood-burning fireplace and just about anywhere
else some bureaucrat can come up with an
excuse to charge you a fee, require a
permit or for a small private fee turn a
blind eye to something you want to do
like build a deck or put up a small
storage shed. BTW, new permits
&
fees are a goldmine for administrators
facing budget constraints; I call it
revenue mining in the public's back
yard (that means YOUR back yard).
The private sector is accused regularly
as bad because it wants to "make a
profit". I've got news for
you, bureaucrats and bureaucracies are
just as greedy at expanding their
revenues (a.k.a. profit) by expanding
the regulations (a.k.a. selling their
product). The trouble is our
bureaucracies are just government
Monopolies. At least in the
private sector an unethical business
looses customers to competition and
eventually goes out of business.
It is much more difficult to undo an
unethical administrative agency.
There are many good ethical people
working in government but we should not
assume they are all saints.
New regulations are justified under the guise of
buzzwords such as "public safety" using
"best available science" and "best
professional judgment" which means that
any old excuse can be used to justify
what an unelected bureaucrat wants to do. But what of checks and
balances you say? Trust me, I've
been through enough administrative
hearings at Thurston County to know
first hand your issue is often decide before
you walk through the doors. The
Commissioners typically do whatever the
staff tells them to do because they
aren't smart enough to evaluate complex
issues. And you
thought kangaroos only lived in
Australia.
Here is the MO of what many County
bureaucrats are up to.
Introduce new regulations as a
public benefit, safety issue, or
endangered species / environmental
issue
Hold hearings to try and build public
support for new permitting authority
Hold the hearings at times inconvenient
to the public if the issue is expected
to be unpopular.
Ignore
public input (if public outrage shuts
you down, try next year with a slightly new
angle)
Use the
Agenda 21 cut-and-paste template for new
regulations or copy what another agency have done
Be sure to
make it expensive and difficult to use property;
then try and bribe citizens to give up their
development rights in trade for lower taxes or fee
waivers (then sell the development rights to
selected private developers later when no one is
looking)
Be sure to include a waiver or mitigation process requiring "studies"
performed by former or current government employees who
want a lucrative little side or retirement business. Note: Gopher studies apparently
cost between $1,000 and $8,000 per study. It's
called easy money.
If once, they (the people) become
inattentive to the public affairs, you
and I and Congress and assemblies... shall all become
wolves….”

of freedom must, like men, undergo the
fatigue of supporting it." -- Thomas

for improperly pruning its trees.
"We always keep our
trees trimmed back because you don't
want to worry about them hanging
down in the way," said Sales, a
church member. The church was
fined $100 per branch cut for
excessive pruning, bringing the
violation to $4,000.

I'm not endorsing Herman Cain, but this is
interesting. By all accounts he won
the first Republican debate hands down.
And it appears he has credentials. We
will keep an eye on R, D & I candidates as
they weigh in. Being a business man,
Cain may be a Trump without the obvious
Trump defects. Articulate, smart AND
experienced at producing jobs. Stay tuned to
this channel...
Herman Cain is probably the most interesting
candidate so far for the 2012 Republican
presidential nomination. He’s a charismatic
Tea Party and Obama-bashing African American
who won (according to polls by Fox, which
hosted the debate) the first GOP
presidential debate. He also spent 10 years
as the CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, which he
returned to profitability shortly after he
took charge. Before that, he achieved
tremendous success with a chain of Burger
King stores in the Philadelphia region. On
Obama, Cain said his administration is “the
worst in current history.” On his own
business experience, he said he is a problem
solver -- he defines the right problem,
assigns the right priority, and surrounds
himself with the right people. On the fact
he’s never held a public office before, he
said most Washington, D.C. politicians have
held public office before and they’re doing
a terrible job. [International Business

Cornell West
vs Reality
& Other
Liberal Black Leaders
May
28, 2011 reprinted by permission
By
Rev. Wayne Perryman
According to the silence of our
black leaders, African Americans are
apparently doing very well despite
on going gang violence in our
inner-cities, a record number of
home foreclosures in black
communities, declining test scores
among our youth and double digit
unemployment - all happening under
our first black president, who seem
to be completely oblivious to these
conditions. Have you noticed that
there has not been one mass protest
by African Americans pointing out
these conditions since Obama took
office?
Our black leaders may be silent on
issues plaguing the black community,
they are not however silent when it
comes to supporting gay rights, gay
lifestyles, and immigration reform.
When Professor Cornell West
criticized Obama for neglecting
blacks and the poor, other black
leaders who had been sleep since
2008, woke up and spoke up to defend
the President, but in their defense
they could not explain nor could
they defend some of the things that
they and various black websites had
previously complained about. Things
like:
The Obama Administration reducing
federal funding for Historically
Black Colleges by as much as $85
million dollars.
Eric Holder reducing
a court award for black farmers from
$2.7 billion dollars to $1.2 billion
dollars.
Obama ignoring black
parents in Chicago who pleaded for
him to come to Chicago to speak to
the black community about the record
number of black youth being murdered
and the record number of black on
black crime since he took office.
Crimes and murders that were taking
place in the same neighborhood where
he was the Community Organizer.
The Obama Administration failure to
investigate why so many members of
the Congressional Black Caucus were
under investigation by the House
Ethic Committee, while “not a
single white lawmaker was currently
the subject of a full-scale ethic
committee probe.”
Obama never acknowledging the
double digit unemployment among
African Americans or the impact that
the down economy was having on the
black community and its families.
Obama turning a deaf ear to the
black clergy who complained about
his threat to remove the
discrimination clause from the Faith
Based Initiative, which could
possibly force the Christian church
to hire gays and others who conflict
with church doctrine.
The Obama Administration ignoring
the appeal of the black broadcasters
who asked for “stimulus money”
to help them weather the
economic storm.
While the Democrats take the black
vote for granted and Republicans
ignore the black vote focusing
solely on the Latino vote, our
blacks leaders are sitting silently
by pretending that our “naked
emperor” is fully clothed, and
while fixating on this imaginary fat
grotesque figure who has no concern
for the black community, the black
community sinks further and further
into despair.

He's always late for pressers But he doesn't really care
He wants to spread the wealth around And tells us that it's fair I really hate to say it, but America is

I'd like to say on word on his behalf: Obama, makes me, laugh! (all laugh)
How do you solve a problem like Obama How do you get the guy to just sit down How you find a phrase that means Obama?

But what can you do to sway His foolish and naive ways Is he gonna apologize again today?

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/05/26/msnbcs-ed-schultz-air-indefinitely-calling-radio-host-laura-ingraham-slut/?test=facesEd Schultz has publicly apologized
for calling a fellow news commentator a
"slut" and is now off the air.
But where is his apology to Republicans?
He accused half the people in our country
(who vote Republican) as only caring about
how much money tornado relief costs and that
they don't care about the suffering of their
fellow man! This is just as scandalous
and slanderous as calling Laura Ingram a
slut. So what's going on here?
Is this just a mistake or part of a
political strategy gone wrong?
The story line put out for public
consumption by the Lefties and their useful
idiot Democrat allies goes something like
this: "Republicans are mean rich people
who want to kill your grandmother by either
taking away her Medicare or outright
starving her and if you don't agree with us
you must be a slut or a racist". Schultz
apologized for using the S word but
strategically left the other big a lie on
the table. Poisoning the public debate
lefties foist extreme false accusations
against anyone who dares disagree and that
is an abuse of freedom of speech. The
lie that Republicans and tea partiers are
racists is laughable to anyone who knows the
truth but the lie is often effective with
the masses and Democrats know this.
Question: If tea
partiers are racists, how can Herman Cain (a
man who is more black than Barack Obama) be
so popular with the tea party?
Answer: Tea partiers are not
racists after all.
So why call tea partiers and Republicans
racists if it isn't true? My friend,
you will find the answer in the pages of
history...
“I understood the infamous spiritual terror
which this movement exerts… at a given sign
it unleashes a veritable barrage of lies and
slanders against whatever adversary seems
most dangerous, until the nerves of the
attacked persons break down… This is a
tactic based on precise calculation of all
human weaknesses, and its result will lead
to success with almost mathematical
certainty… I achieved an equal understanding
of the importance of physical terror toward
the individual and the masses… For while in
the ranks of their supporters the victory
achieved seems a triumph of the justice of
their own cause, the defeated adversary in
most cases despairs of the success of any
further resistance…” (quote from Mein
Kampf by Adolph Hitler) No more precise
analysis of Nazi tactics, as Hitler was
eventually to develop them, was ever
written. pp 22-23 Rise and Fall of the
Third Reich.

Amendment I "Congress shall make
no law respecting an establishment of
religion..."
I'm sure there are legal scholars who will
argue both sides of whether or not the
Administration is trying to establish
religion. Obama wouldn't want to
encourage those bitter people clutching
their bibles and guns would he? But
all the while Barack and Hillary insist we
respect the Koran. Why? He views
Muslims as a greater political force.
I suggest we respect all religions equally
and not play favorites but that would be the
Constitutional approach... I doubt
there is anyone in America with an IQ of 80
or more who cannot recognize the Obama /
Clinton appeasement agenda toward the
Mohammedans (Muslims). Hey, didn't
Great Britton try the appeasement thing
prior to WW 2? How did that work out?
You know that "Peace in our time..." thing
from Neville Chamberlain and all?

I think even an atheist
would be bothered by this Administration's
unequal approach between religions and
disdain for freedom of speech which was so
obvious the ACLU came down on the side of
Koran-burning pastor Terry Jones. The
ACLU none the less!
Personally I don't think
the Administration is trying to
establish religion, but they are so inept
they may be doing so inadvertently.
What I mean is they are so void of
principled thinking that their political
stand has established a definable and
consistent religious preference. Can
you spell "litmus test"? And don't get
me started on how they mishandled Libya;
their "on again, off again" approach has
already encourage our enemies and frustrate
our allies the world around.
The argument presented in
the video below is becoming relevant.
You may not agree with everything said but
an intelligent person would conclude the
Administration's policies are inconsistent
with the First Amendment or are just plain
stupid. Take your pick, it's all bad
policy both at home or abroad.
The Senate Hearing testimony was about
evenly balance but the Senate made a last
minute change in the time which caused many
citizens to miss their opportunity to be
heard. Also, chairman Murry
murray.edward@leg.wa.gov cut
short public testimony which again was
disrespectful toward citizens coming from
out of town. We will publish citizens
testimony below. Please let us know if
you came to testify but were cut out of the
process.
Dear Sir,
This is not the time to be adding to the tax
burdens of any business, let alone the ones
cherry picked to attack their exemptions. Do
not chase any more business out of
Washington State. Quit picking on the people
in agriculture just because the people
wanting to maintain entitlements outnumber
and could out vote them. They provide our
food. I was at the hearing yesterday and was
amazed and offended at the attitude that the
voters "did not know what they were voting
for when they voted for I 1053." (Eide)
Please, this has been voted on and
approved at least three times. We mean it.
Do not create holes in 1053. The super
majority vote is what we want.
Thank you,
Mary Cole
Vancouver, WA
Dear Senator Murray,
As a co-sponsor of I-1053 and as a citizen I
came to testify against the anti-1053 bills
(OPPOSE SB 5944,5945, &
5947) heard before your committee
this Wednesday, May 4th. My testimony
was excluded and for that I am very
disappointed.
I
live in Olympia and I almost didn't get
signed in because of the long line and
sudden schedule change from 2:30 to 2:00 PM.
The public will interpret the change of
schedule as a dirty political trick. I
had several friends come from out of town
and I was saddened by your staff's decision
to exclude them from testifying. What
message does their exclusion send to
Washingtonians? If you are willing
to take time out off of work and drive hours
to Olympia you will be snubbed.
You sir, should have greater respect for the
voters. You owe everyone you
disrespected a plausible explanation or a
written public apology. Senate staff
who refused to let out-of-town citizens
testify should be reprimanded or fired.
Please forward to me a copy of the sign up
sheets (electronic version) via email.
Thank you.

Whack the Program
that Just Delivered $321 Million!?!
The
Inside Story of the Program the
Legislature Loves to Hate.
Proof of corruption?
OLYMPIA, May 6 — Just as
lawmakers are cheering an unexpected
$321 million that will bail out the
state budget, they’re thinking about
whacking the program that made it
all possible.
It is the inside story of the
“May Miracle” announced by Gov.
Christine Gregoire on Tuesday. The
money came from a tax-amnesty
program run by the state Department
of Revenue – a wildly successful
effort that generated more money
than anyone dreamed...
The $321 million windfall is one of
those things that might make the
Legislature gulp. The much-despised
Eyman gets a chance to say
told-you-so. “We always said
performance audits would identify
ways to balance the budget would
balance the budget without raising
taxes,” Eyman said. “And it’s
obviously gratifying to see one of
these performance audits playing
such a key role in greasing the
budget wheels for a final budget
resolution this year.”...
ALERT: REQUEST
EXTENSION OF U.S. FOREST SERVICE RULE
COMMENT PERIOD (BEFORE MAY 16)
Dear BRC
Action Alert Subscriber,
BRC, along
with multiple-use stakeholders, local
governments and numerous recreational
advocacy organizations, has asked the
Department of Agriculture to provide an
additional 90 days to review and comment on
the Draft Planning Rule for the U.S. Forest
Service.
The new
planning regulations are extremely
complex and include new, untested
provisions for habitat planning and
monitoring. In addition, the agency has,
sadly, chosen to emphasize preservation
over multiple use and recreation. BRC is
working with a wide range of
stakeholders in efforts to bring the
agency back to its multiple use mandate
and the groups have collectively
requested an extension of the comment
period. Read the letter
HERE.
We need
your help.
Please
help us by sending a quick message to
Harris Sherman, USDA Under Secretary for
Natural Resources and Environment in
support of our extension request.
In order
to assist you, BRC has activated our
Rapid Response Center. Simply
click to send your message.
Thank you in
advance for your involvement. As always,
please call or email with questions.
